Our home for the week is a beautiful and quiet lodge located in the highlands of Santa Cruz. The lodge is secluded and tranquil, the perfect place to relax between adventures and roam in the lush grounds. Enjoy the swimming pool and jacuzzi, relax in the hammocks or take a walk around the gardens or along a forest trail.
Practice plenty of yoga and meditation with James in a yoga studio with views of the forest and fruit trees.
During the retreat we explore the paradise beaches on Santa Cruz island and also explore the archipelago to visit the extraordinary wildlife. We will carefully explore the islands on foot and dingy and then swim and snorkel in beautiful bays and explore the reefs.
Bartolome Island offers some of the most emblematic sceneries of the Galapagos Islands. We walk on the island with our guide and learn first hand about the volcanic origins of the Galapagos Islands and then take a dingy ride along the coastline to see the Galapagos penguin before heading to Sullivan Bay for some snorkelling.
Santa Fe Island has a beautiful white sandy beach and is home to plenty of sea lions and iguanas. We walk a trail that starts at the beach and leads into a giant cactus forest where the Galapagos hawk, crabs, nocturnal herons, marine iguanas, mockingbirds and Galapagos doves are often spotted. After exploring the island we head to Fisherman Bay to snorkel with sea turtles, rays, sea lions, fishes and Galapagos sharks.
There will be also be time to visit the El Manzanillo Tortoise Reserve, the Charles Darwin centre and we have an afternoon and evening out in Puerto Ayora. While we have packed a lot into this trip of lifetime, there is also time to practice yoga, to book a massage or lie by the pool, chat and make new friends.

Coming to this retreat I feel well cared of, I was able to leave the work behind, be fully present and enjoy the lovely company. I stayed active throughout and feel so relaxed!
