Laura Bell

Laura has been teaching yoga for over 20 years and leading retreats for the past 15, bringing a depth of experience and a calm, confident presence to every class she teaches.

With a foundation in Ashtanga yoga, her first love, Laura’s approach blends strength, challenge, and awareness in a way that feels both grounding and accessible. Her sessions move between dynamic flow and more restorative practices, supporting the body while creating space to slow down and reconnect.

Laura founded her retreat company, Zest Life, in 2001 following a life-changing accident at the age of 18, when she broke her back in a boating incident in Australia. During her recovery, she was introduced to yoga, which became a steady anchor through both the physical and emotional challenges that followed.

Over time, yoga and a deeper connection to nature helped her rebuild a healthier, more balanced way of living. Today, her teaching reflects that journey, offering a thoughtful, supportive space where people can reconnect with themselves and move with greater ease.
