Felicity Wood

Felicity came to yoga the way many do — through contrast. Years of corporate advertising, marathon running and Ironman triathlons eventually led her to the mat, and what began as a counterbalance to a high-intensity life quickly became something far more transformative. She qualified as a Hatha Yoga teacher in 2014 with Laura Gilmore at the Bristol School of Yoga, and within weeks had handed in her notice, swapped her suits for an 85-litre backpack, and set off on six months of travel — canoeing the Yukon River, hiking in the Rockies and living in an ashram in India. She has been teaching full time ever since.

Her teaching is rooted in Hatha Flow — a strong but steady approach that is challenging without being rushed, with a consistent emphasis on technique and skill. She has trained extensively with Jason Crandell, completing over 300 hours of Vinyasa Flow training with him, and has also studied with senior teachers Anna Ashby and Jean Hall through the triyoga 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training Programme. After over a decade of teaching in person, Felicity now teaches predominantly through her online membership — guided by the belief that yoga works best when it becomes part of everyday life.

A lifelong adventurer, Felicity spent a year living in Mexico as part of her French and Spanish degree, which sparked decades of exploration — from climbing mountains on four continents and completing the six marathon majors, to cycling through Japan and Vietnam, hiking in Bhutan and surfing in Sri Lanka. When she’s at home, you’ll find her walking in the North Wessex Downs with her Rhodesian Ridgeback, Asha.
