Meet the team

Jools Sampson, owner of Reclaim Your SelfReclaim Your Self was founded in 2005 by me, Jools Sampson! I am the owner of Reclaim Your Self and I create our yoga retreats.

I have a passion for working in interesting places and for seeking out extraordinary destinations. I love places that are less explored – the places where beauty and wild nature make your soul sing.

We run 10 yoga retreats each year and I personally host each one. We are not into mass production here at Reclaim Your Self!  We don’t have a list of venues and book in teachers to deliver your classes but rather I seek out excellent people to collaborate with and we work together to choose locations and create retreats from scratch. This means every retreat is made with love.

On retreat my job is to make sure everything runs like clockwork. Behind each retreat is a creative fusion (and a lot of hard work) by our international and local team members, with me at the helm making sure our guests receive a high quality personalised retreat experience.

I want everyone who comes on our retreats to have an absolutely amazing time so I look after our guests, making sure they feel really well supported and cared for. I’ve been working internationally for more than 20 years now and running retreats for 12, so I am the calm and friendly force who is always around on retreat making sure everyone is ok – from practical stuff to moral support and encouragement, a listening ear and a cup of tea (I’m British and it’s always a winner!)

Where did I come from? I changed careers in 2004, moving from international development into the wellness world. When I started, there weren’t many yoga holidays around so we were pioneers.

What was my vision? I passionately wanted to create a yoga retreat community; something powerful and new, an excellent and inspiring space for people to share skills and wisdom, whether they be guests, team or our local hosts.

I’ve kept the team small and our vision strong. Everyone on the team is following their dreams, sharing their expertise and best ideas. We enjoy being part of everything that happens on a retreat and we put our hearts into everything we do.

I am really proud of what we have created, it’s a team effort every step of the way. I am honoured to introduce my talented and much loved team below.

        Bettina Campolucci-Bordi

        Retreat chef

Bettina's plant based journey started off as an experiment. She started to run retreats where she did all the cooking. All the food was to be plant based, refined sugar free and gluten free. Enthralled by this task, Bettina dove straight in and started to create dishes that tasted familiar, were comforting during a sensitive week and could be re-created anywhere in the world.

"There are no labels or rules, just good food. I hope my passion and creations inspire you to view food differently and restore your faith in natural, healthy eating.

My passion has taken me on so many adventures and led me to cross paths with many incredible people - I am eternally grateful." Check out Bettina's Kitchen.

          Saba Rahbar

          Retreat chef

Saba's discovery into plant based food started four years ago after she became ill and she embarked on a powerful journey to health and wellness. Her obsession with ensuring she was fuelling her body with pure goodness led her to start a blog to share her recipes.

Saba is based in Ibiza and is the proud owner of the Treehouse Kitchen: A catering business providing natural, whole, plant-based foods and a product line of healthy treats. Saba also runs pop-ups and supper clubs, gives talks on plant-based nutrition and runs wholistic cooking workshops.

Saba is certified in plant based nutrition and her aim is to spread the knowledge she has gained to cultivate awareness around eating delicious and nourishing plant based foods.
