Between classes relax in our luxury private manor house. Our yoga weekend chef will fuel you with a delicious vegetarian menu and you can add massages and country walks for the perfect healthy weekend.

Join Vinyasa flow teacher Faye Riches for a New Year yoga detox weekend in January. You’ll stay in a 17th century manor house, hidden away in a traditional country village an hour north of London.

The house is set within beautifully landscaped gardens, secluded woodland and many acres of private land. The Crystal yoga room overlooks the parterre garden and this location also has its own labyrinth, a unique space perfect for peaceful reflection.

Your yoga weekend programme: You’ll have ten hours of Vinyasa flow yoga classes with Faye Riches over the weekend in a beautiful, warm yoga studio. On Friday evening and Saturday morning Faye will teach 2 hour master classes. On Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning you’ll have 3 hour workshops to explore arm balances and backbends.

Faye teaches vinyasa flow yoga, a dynamic style of yoga where you practice a smoothly flowing sequence of asana connected by the breath. Modifications and progressions are given so that students of all levels will find these yoga sessions rewarding.

Food & accommodation

Meals on your yoga weekend: Our own chef will be creating delicious, healthy meals using fresh, local produce. Your nourishing meals will be vegetarian, gluten and sugar free and low on dairy.

Expect a light winter cleansing menu.  Following a pre yoga power smoothie, you’ll have a cooked savoury breakfast and your main meal will be a late lunch. You’ll be served a fulfilling but light evening meal.

You’ll have plenty of herbal teas and water available all weekend.  Note that there is no caffeine or alcohol served on your winter yoga detox weekend.

Your yoga weekend accommodation: Our 17th century manor house has luxuriously plush bedrooms in both the main house and the converted stable yard.

The bedrooms in the main house are larger with views out onto the extensive grounds and gardens.  These rooms share bathrooms between 2 or 3 people.

The bedrooms in the converted stables are located in 4 cottages set around a courtyard. The bedrooms are beautifully designed and most of them have ensuite bathroom facilities.

Travel

Travel to your yoga weekend: We are located about 60 miles from London. The nearest railway station is Bedford, which is less than an hour by train from London St Pancras. We are around 20 minutes from Luton airport and you can travel easily using the Eurostar and connecting at St Pancras.

From Bedford station you will need to get a taxi which will be around £15 (shared taxis can be organised) and takes 30-40 minutes.

Please arrive by 4pm on 26th January and we’ll finish at 2pm on 28th January.

    This was my second retreat with Reclaim Yourself (Jools & Faye) and it did not disappoint. Jools and the team, did an amazing job, looking after everyone, the food was tasty and plentify. The house and grounds were stunning and walking a labyrinth was a experience that will stay with me. Faye Riches is one of favourite yoga teachers, you could tell that a lot of thought, passion and planning had gone into the yoga classes/ workshop. A truly beautiful and inspirational yoga teacher.

    I can’t recommend Faye enough. I first saw her 7 years ago after sustaining a neck injury that left me struggling to walk. With her patience and support, I’m now able to embrace life again, as well as having discovered a passion for yoga. I really enjoyed the blend of classes on this weekend, especially the time dedicated to breathing and meditation. I had a lovely few days away – fabulous teacher, stunning setting and a great group of people!

    This was my second New Year Yoga Retreat with Reclaim Yourself, my first in Jan 16 was also with Faye Riches.
    Faye is an inspirational, spiritual, patient teacher who makes you feel safe and supported no matter what level you are.
    I credit her with my igniting my yoga passion as I was a complete novice last year.
    The weekends are well organised and although there are 10 hours of yoga, there is still enough time to have some individual space if that’s what you need.
    The vegan food is good, portion sizes are great and you never feel hungry.
    I thought that last year’s accommodation was lovely, but this years was outstanding, it was like staying in a five-star hotel.
    Thanks Jools, Faye and the team for the perfect way to start a New Year.

    I love yoga retreats in general, it’s my way of rebalancing and resting. Faye’s classes are fantastic, she’s the best yoga teacher I’ve ever come across. Jools has an uncanny eye to find amazing venues and this one was no exception. It truly was an amazing place and I felt transported.
    Reclaim yourself run quality retreats. There is good organisation without being too rigid and there is a genuine desire to ensure all guests needs are met.
    Totally love it!! 🙂

    This was my first yoga retreat. I was deeply impressed with the level of professionalism evident from the moment I arrived on the Friday afternoon; when I received a warm welcome, updated weekend briefing pack and shown to my room; until the time I left on the Sunday afternoon with a full belly and smile on my face. The yoga taught by Faye was thoroughly explained and displayed. It was backed by a great sound track throughout the weekend. The 10 hours yoga was tough but the sense of enjoyment and support from Faye and fellow yogis saw me through. I had a great sense of achievement by the end and felt a deeper understanding of the practice and philosophy taught by a Faye. Faye is a genuinely inspirational teacher and I cannot recommend her enough. The food prepared by Sabah et al was unbelievably good. It was first experience of vegan food and I loved the taste, texture and freshness of the meals. I cannot believe how filling they were, and I am a pretty big eater! Each meal felt like I was dining out, although better, because of the communal dining table leading to great variety of conversations.
    The spirit and sense of community and camaraderie was encouraged throughout the weekend. Thank you Jools and team for organizing and running such a positive all immersing experience. I have already penciled next years retreat in my diary.
