Location Join for a yoga retreat in France this June. You'll stay at Arnauton, our beautifully renovated 16th Century farmhouse in the heart of the Gascony countryside. Located in the Midi Pyrenees, this region is sometimes referred to as the French Tuscany due to its gently rolling hills filled with sunflowers and old villages, including many “bastides” or fortified towns. Our farmhouse is set in five acres of private grounds and has swimming pool and tennis court. The superb yoga room has views over the pool and beyond to rolling hills. From the terrace there are views of Pyrenees on a clear day. Programme: On this immersive yoga retreat, you'll delve deeper into the physical, mental and spiritual practices of Anusara yoga with Lisa Sanfilippo, one of London's top teachers in a rare intimate setting. Between classes our peaceful location lends itself perfectly for some “you time” and you'll be able to book a massage or pampering treatment. You'll have a day off mid week when you'll be able to book an excursion and explore the area. |

Yoga, meditation and pranayama: Lisa will offer two classes per day- morning practice session and an afternoon workshop, plus meditation and pranayama sessions. You also have the option to book a personal session with Lisa for any therapeutic concerns or to establish/ refine your personal practice. You will be encouraged and guided to expand your horizons in movement and stillness. You'll find greater levels of freedom and stability in your body, mind and heart. The programme of yoga is designed for you if you wish to deepen your personal connection your yoga practice, and to explore its transformative potential on every level. It's not for absolute beginners, though we welcome a range from those with some experience to those who have been practicing for years, and those who are training as teachers or already teaching. |
|
| Massages and pampering: You'll be able to book hot stone and deep tissues massages, rose or frankincense facials or an energising back scrub during the week to help you relax, relieve tiredness and improve your flexibility. | |
